Invicta East Kent's Renata McDonnell (coached by Donald Carter, Canterbury Endurance) secured her first England vest following her fabulous performance at the Redcar Half Marathon on 22 September. The race, which is known to be a competitive course, was nominated by England Athletics as one of only three half marathon qualifying races this year, with England selection for athletes finishing in the top three and achieving the qualifying standard time.
Renata finished first in her age group (V50) with a personal best time of 86:43, securing her a slot in the England team for the 2025 International Representative Masters Half Marathon in Swansea on 8th June 2025.
