Invicta prove their strength in the Kent Schools Cross Country Champs

Cross-Country

Saturday 21st January saw athletes take over Central Park in Dartford for the the Kent Schools Cross Country Champs.  It was a chance to run for their schools and districts for the Invicta athletes. Conditions were good with the sun out and a partially frozen course keeping the worst of the mud at bay.

Standout stars were the Intermediate Boys (Yrs 10-11) of Noah Paterson 1st and Adam Whitlock 2nd, and Senior Boys (Yrs 12-13) Jake Stevens 2nd and Jamie Keir 4th.  The girls were determined not to be outshone in the sunshine with Senior Girls (Yrs 12-13) Amy Goodhand 4th and Teigan Sullivan 11th.

There were other great top 20 performances from Seb Sanz-Kozyra (11th - Junior Boys), Nate Thomson (15th - Junior Boys), Eliza Mills (14th - Senior Girls) and Millie Knightley (16th - Senior Girls). Many of these athletes will have the chance of being selected to represent Kent Schools at the forthcoming Intercounties and English Schools Cross Country Champs.
